Inclusive Education & Assistive Devices Programme

  • Education, Skills & Empowerment
  • Nairobi, Kenya
  • Feb 2024 - present

Keeping learners with disabilities in school through assistive devices, classroom support, teacher training and mentorship.

Children with disabilities are among the most likely to drop out of school. This programme removes the barriers that push them out.

We assess learners, provide the assistive devices they need, and support teachers to make their classrooms inclusive. Older students mentor younger learners so that no child navigates school alone.

We also work with families to make sure support continues beyond the school gate.
