Tree planting, waste management and environmental education led by residents, including persons with disabilities.
A cleaner, greener neighbourhood is healthier for everyone, and the work should include everyone. This programme puts residents, including persons with disabilities, at the centre of local environmental action.
We plant and care for indigenous trees, train households and schools in waste segregation, and support community clean-ups. School environment clubs keep the next generation involved.
The programme also makes sure green and public spaces are accessible to persons with disabilities.
