Planting and maintaining indigenous trees along community footpaths and green spaces, with environmental education for schools.
WECY's climate programme works with residents to green shared spaces and restore native tree cover.
This planting day combines tree planting along community footpaths with waste segregation training and environmental education sessions for school groups.
Residents are welcome to join the planting. Tools, gloves and seedlings are provided, and we share practical guidance on caring for young trees through the dry season.
